Nuts 3 is different in that you start next to a nifty BFG replacer and lots of backpacks/ammo. Nuts starts you next to a Plasma Gun and BFG9000, Nuts 2 starts you in front of a room with 3 chaingunners that look like megaspheres and contains nothing else but shotguns and ONE BFG9000 (A ton of ammo though). Just an FYI you DO get more than a pistol, but that is what you start with. There is a gun and a backpack near you." Reply Good karma +2 votes There is a weird tower to the west, also ancient it seems, which may be your ticket out of this fested, putrid vertex riddled world. You're in the middle of a bloody huge sea of demons, on an ancient meteorite. Until it's so big that it pops, and from within it, an ancient world spills out over your reality and all your consiousness slips into it's dark shoes. As you walk out of the balloon store, something happens. You buy a single black balloon with white stars on it for your grandmother's birthday. (My favourite tactic is killing them all) It is quite EPIC IMO. Nuts2 is basically where you are on a quest to become the DOOM God, by making it through all of the monsters. Since this is the biggest Hellspawn army ever esstablished, the cheap-*** General sends you with nothing but a pea shooter. The government sends you all alone becuase you got drunk at the General's Birthday party last year and he never liked you since. You are assigned to destroy the final Hellspawn army on Litrivin IV. Nuts: "Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away. In addition they all have some story to them, although nuts2 is a bit lacking. Using all of the above my cause a serious problem such as a Blue Screen, computer crash, nuclear explosion, or your computer may burst into flames. *Warning* Unless you have a supercomputer do not combine with the following:ฤก0x.wad (Multiplies monsters in (any) map by 10) *Updated* Recommended in combination with doom3_weapons.wad (Which can be found here at Mod DB) or h, which gives you tons of ammunition and full auto weapons. These will work with ANY Source Port as far as I can tell, I have tested it with ZDOOM, GZDOOM, Risen3D (With and without models), and EGDE, I recommend ZDOOM/GZDOOM or EGDE. *New* Video links: nuts.wad with h (Completed on UV in less than 3 minutes) When one of these freezes occurs during a fight, I know I am going to take damage and possibly die because of it as soon as the freeze ends, and this is very frustrating.Note: These maps are huge with tons of monsters, how many you ask? I hope someone knows the issue and has a solution because it's hindering my ability to enjoy the game. I've been using 4.4.2 since it released and have only had this issue in the last month or so. This happens whether I am playing basic 90s vanilla maps or UDMF monstrosities. I have not tried playing in any other render modes, yet, as I prefer the hardware rendering over software simply for mouselook. And changing the render mode between OpenGL and Vulkan. It appears to happen quite randomly, I have had it happen 3 times in less than a minute, and I've had long 6 hour sessions when it only happened once. Me speaking on the mic when it happens is also not affected. The recording program (OBS) isn't affected when these freezes occur, the program keeps recording at the same bitrate and FPS and the CPU usage doesn't change. Nothing else on the PC seems to be affected while this is happening, it doesn't happen in any other games. Within the past month or so GZDoom has started freezing up during gameplay for around 5-6 seconds at a time. I've searched online but I can't seem to find anyone with the exact issue I am having.
